Why G7 color matters at this size

A banner hanging next to your printed brochure is the moment color accuracy stops being an abstraction. G7 Master Colorspace qualification means we calibrate every output device, including wide format, to the same defined visual target, so your brand color reads the same across a vinyl banner, a press sheet and a digital reprint.

Perfect cross device matching has physical limits, because a backlit vinyl and a coated sheet are different materials. We get closer than a printer without G7 qualification can. For critical brand color, send your CMYK or Pantone values and let us pull a proof first.

How to set up a wide format file

Large format is more forgiving than offset on resolution and less forgiving on scale. These three things prevent almost every file problem we see.

ResolutionFor pieces viewed up close, such as posters and countertop displays, supply 150 to 300 PPI at final size. For banners viewed from a distance, 75 to 100 PPI at final size is acceptable. Set up artwork at full size where you can, or at a clean scale ratio such as 1:2 or 1:10.
Color modeCMYK preferred. RGB files are accepted but will be converted. If exact brand color matching is critical, supply your Pantone or CMYK values rather than relying on the conversion.
File formatPress ready PDF with fonts embedded or outlined. Native Illustrator and InDesign files are fine with links and fonts packaged. Not sure your file is set up correctly? Send it and we will check, because we review every file before production.

What is the largest size you can print?

Our wide format equipment handles output up to 60 inches wide, with unlimited length on roll media. Custom and oversized banners are available. For specific size requirements, call 317-635-2282 and we will confirm capability and pricing.

How fast can you produce a banner or trade show graphic?

Standard turnaround is 3 to 5 business days from approved files. Rush production is often available for tighter timelines. Call us first to confirm what is achievable before your event, because events do not reschedule when a banner is not ready.

Can you match colors between wide format and offset or digital print?

G7 Master Colorspace qualification means we calibrate all output devices, including wide format, to the same color target. Perfect cross device matching has physical limits, but we get closer than a printer without G7 qualification. Do you offer finishing options like grommets, hemming or mounting?

Yes. Banners include grommets, pole pockets, hemmed edges or rope and cord finishing as needed. Posters and signage can be mounted on foam board, gator board, sintra or aluminum composite. Lamination in gloss, matte or scuff resistant is available on most substrates. Specify your finishing needs when you request a quote.
