When I order a quantity, is that pads or sheets?
The quantity you order is the number of finished pads. You separately choose how many sheets go in each pad, either 25, 50, or 100. So an order of 250 pads at 50 sheets each is 250 finished notepads, using 12,500 printed sheets in total.
How many sheets come in a custom notepad?
You choose the count. The three standard options are 25, 50, and 100 sheets per pad. 25 sheet pads are light and economical for giveaways, 50 sheets is the most popular balance for everyday branding, and 100 sheets makes a substantial desk pad for heavy note takers. Other counts are available on request.
Can I print custom notepads with my own logo and design?
Yes. That is the point of a custom notepad. Send us your logo and layout as a press ready PDF, or give us your brand assets and our in house design team builds the pad for you. We print your logo, brand colors, contact details, and any ruled lines or layout on every sheet.
What paper do you print notepads on?
The standard notepad stock is 70 lb uncoated. It writes well with pen or pencil, resists bleed through, and stays opaque so ink does not show through the sheet below. Lighter 50 to 60 lb bond keeps giveaway pads economical. Recycled and FSC certified stocks are available, along with colored sheets.
What is the minimum order for custom notepads?
Minimums depend on the print method. Digital printing allows short runs for small quantities, which suits a single realtor or a small office. Offset printing becomes cost effective at higher quantities and delivers the lowest cost per pad for bulk corporate and promotional orders. We recommend the right method for your quantity and budget.
Can I get an exact custom size?
Yes. We are a commercial printer with precision cutters, not a website limited to a fixed size list. If your width is at least 3.5 inches, we can almost certainly cut it to your exact spec, up to 12 inches wide. Request a quote with your dimensions and we confirm within one business day.
What is the difference between a notepad and a sticky notepad?
A standard notepad is glued into a pad along one edge with a chipboard backer and sits on a desk. A sticky notepad has a repositionable adhesive strip on the back of each sheet, so a single sheet can be pulled off and stuck to a monitor, door, or document. Both can be fully custom printed. Sticky notes are usually smaller, most often 3 by 3 inches.
Do you print carbonless or NCR duplicate pads?
Yes. Carbonless pads, also called NCR pads, use special multi-part paper so writing on the top sheet creates a duplicate copy underneath without carbon paper. Two part and three part pads are common for work orders, receipts, and invoices. We print and collate carbonless pads in house at our Indianapolis facility.
Can you print on both sides of the notepad sheets?
Yes. Most notepads print full color on the front only, which keeps cost down and leaves a clean writing surface. We can also print the back with ruled lines, a calendar, a conversion chart, or a second message. Ask for two sided printing when you request your estimate.
How long does custom notepad printing take?
Standard turnaround is 5 to 7 business days from approved files, because padding and finishing are added steps after printing. Rush options are available on many quantities. Are your notepads recyclable and eco friendly?
