Being the son of Joel O'Brien, a founding member of Printing Partners, my connection with this esteemed organization has been deeply personal and professional from the outset. My earliest memories are filled with the excitement of exploring the shop on bikes and scooters with my siblings, a testament to the welcoming environment my father created. This childhood fascination evolved into a more formal role during my high school years, when I spent summers gaining hands-on experience on the production floor. This immersion provided me with a comprehensive understanding of the intricate processes involved in production. Today, I am proud to serve as a Customer Sales Representative, working alongside my father. This role not only fulfills a long-held aspiration but also allows me to contribute meaningfully to the company that has been an integral part of my life.

How I try to make the world better:

“I try to start each day with a positive attitude. Simply smiling, saying good morning, and radiating warmth can brighten someone else's day. Small acts of positivity ripple outwards. When we lead with empathy, compassion and goodwill, it inspires others. By making positivity part of my daily life, I hope to play a small role in making the world a bit brighter."

My favorite quote?

“The only place success comes before work is in the dictionary.” This powerful statement encapsulates the essence of my approach to life and work. It underscores the fundamental truth that success is not an entitlement but a reward for hard work, dedication, and perseverance. It serves as a constant reminder that there are no shortcuts to achieving our goals. Instead, it is the consistent effort, the willingness to face challenges head-on, and the resilience to keep going even when the odds are stacked against us, that pave the way to success. This quote has not only shaped my professional ethos but also guided my personal growth, instilling in me the value of diligence and the importance of maintaining a strong work ethic.

Who is someone you admire and why?

I admire and look up to my Dad every day of my life. He is the most humble, selfless, and thorough individual I have ever met. Not only has he created such an outstanding business but, he has created an entire family at Printing Partners. Love you Dad, never change!
