On Earth Day, The Indianapolis Star reported on Indiana’s environmental record. Unfortunately, Indiana ranks near the bottom in areas that reflect respect for the environment. We must improve this area. Sustainability is no longer optional; it must be engrained in the way we do business.

Chain-of-custody certification from the Forest Stewardship Council

G-7® certification
Though primarily a calibration process that allows us to achieve a close “visual match” from proof to press, G-7® is also environmentally sound.

Our ability to accurately achieve color faster allows us to reduce paper waste on each 4-color process job. [ Learn More ]

Eco-friendly inks with on-demand formulation
Our soy and vegetable-based inks create less toxic waste and minimize overall waste due to their ability to develop color quickly on the press. Additionally, we formulate ink on-demand to eliminate excess inventory and optimize color uniformity rather than purchasing premixed inks.

Commitment to recycling
We demonstrate a firm commitment to recycling:

• Solvent recyclers allow us to reclaim more than 70 percent of our blanket wash, reducing solvent costs and virtually eliminating disposal costs and discharge
• We recycle more than 1,000 tons of paper every year. We use paper that maintains a minimum of 30 percent post-consumer recovered fiber, and is certified by the manufacturer and meets EPA-recommended guidelines
• Annually we recycle more than 10,000 pounds of aluminum
